I went on vacation 2 weeks ago. It was supposed to be a fun and enjoyable time. And to some degree, it was. But within 2 days, I had a family member receive bad reports from doctors.

American Idol is full of people who have been told they’re good singers when the reality is, they are not. We all get the sick pleasure of watching people fail on American Idol rehearsals, or worse, we enjoy them making it and being comic relief for many many episodes through out a season. But while it may be funny to laugh at a William Hung type character on American Idol, theres’ no way we would laugh at that during a church service.
The #1 excuse I hear people state for not being generous towards others is, “If I were rich…I would be more generous.” I’m not buying it. We’re all rich. If we have clothes to wear and food to eat, we’re rich.
